LPSA held its Annual Meeting and Summer Luncheon at Oak Mountain on August 28. Committee leaders presented reports on their programs and accomplishments this year.
Also, Mitzi Fox, Vice-President of Gifting, presented a plaque to John Huber to thank him for his strong support of LPSA, and to recognize his initiative and vision in creating and supporting the Kathryn Coolidge Huber Memorial Fund. John continues to match all donations made to this fund, which provides a reserve of funding to be available to support a quick response, if any invasive plants are discovered in our local lakes.
