The mission of Lake Pleasant-Sacandaga Association (LPSA) is to protect and preserve the health and beauty of lakes within the Town of Lake Pleasant. Don’t be misled by our organization’s name. We care about all of the lakes in our Town, including Oxbow Lake, Whitaker Lake, Echo Lake, Kunjamuk Bay – not just Lake Pleasant and Sacandaga Lake.
Our local organization is just one part of a large web of similar organizations throughout the Adirondacks and throughout New York State who all share common interests. The interaction diagram below shows that LPSA and Lake Pleasant - Sacandaga Foundation (LPSF) interface with over 20 different organizations who help us achieve our objectives.  LPSA is very fortunate to have access to information and resources through all of these other organizations. It would be very difficult for us to accomplish all that we do without the educational information and staff support that we receive from experts outside our own organization. Our most important partners in ecology are you, our members. We would not be an organization without our members. Please take the time to renew your membership for 2022. We have maintained the membership fees at the current level of $15 per person, $20 per family, and $30 per business. You can renew your membership by mailing a check to LPSA, PO Box 383, Wells, NY 12190-0383, or you can renew on-line, on our website at www.LPSA-NY.org. On the website, select “Membership” on the menu bar at the top of the page, and click on “Renewing Members”. You can pay using a credit card or your PayPal account. Either transaction will be completed on the PayPal website. You will need to click on “Donate with PayPal” to get to that website, even if you intend to pay with a credit card. After you are on the PayPal website you can select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”
